I’ve been on the hunt to find the best leaf chai around, and I’ve finally found it! A while back I decided to lower my coffee intake, and started ordering chai tea when I would go out to a café. I found the café quality chais were delicious, strong and hot (just how I like it!) but when buying chai from the selection at the supermarket, it really didn’t measure up. The tea bags and powders were either weak, lacked flavour, or were filled with sugar and additives. I decided to ask my local café what they used, and they told me they order from Prana Chai. It was the most yummy, authentic taste I found in my entire search – and kept out all the nasty additives! Handmade in Melbourne, just like Synergie, I now have bags of Prana Chai set up at home, at the office, and in the staff tearoom – the whole team is obsessed! The founder himself delivered the bags to our door, explaining that he preferred to do the deliveries himself so he can meet his customers. As Synergie prides itself on our transparency, I naturally loved this business value! I’ve whipped up my tasty Chai Tea recipe, give it a go! 3 heaped teaspoons Prana Chai Natvia natural sweetener to taste (say 1 teaspoon) 500ml unsweetened almond milk (Woolworths Select brand is best!) Your favourite large mug Place sweetener in your mug, and pour a bit of boiling water in to dissolve. Spoon the Prana Chai into a microwave safe fillable tea bag. Pour milk into mug to fill, and pop tea bag in. Microwave the mug for approximately 2 minutes. Allow to steep for a further minute. Squeeze the tea bag out, get all those yummy flavours out - and enjoy!
